After MBC diagnosis can one get term or whole life insurance? If so which ones are best? Just wondering as we face our life issues?

Insurance
I think it will be very difficult or very expensive to get a policy after an MBC diagnosis. There are usually questions that pertain to health. Not to say impossible, but difficult.
I got it. Mutual of Omaha (that has one of the best ratings for insurance companies). It is called guaranteed whole life insurance. Obviously, more expensive per month and lower amounts. So I got one for $29.70 for $7,000 payout. I just passed the two year mark so now it is fully enforceable. If I had died in a car accident before the two years, it would have been paid in full. They do not ask any medical questions at all which is why it is a bit more pricey and less of a payout.
Take the money that you would pay in premiums and start saving it.
hi Kruza. noticed that you are new on this board. firstly, i want to say WELCOME! wonderful support on this site and lots of great advice to be shared!unfortunately, as far as the life insurance question...with preexisting condition of MBC, your chances are probably 'slim to none'. although no harm in exploring.
best wishes to you!

OMG...I rarely come on this board anymore but I did today and your question popped out. I have no family and I didn't even realize until year two that I no longer had work life insurance. I have no family so it never occurred to and then I realized that someone was going to have to remove my stuff from apt. and take care of when I die.
I used Mutual of Omaha. It is a guaranteed whole term life insurance policy. They ask NO MEDICAL QUESTIONS, whatsoever. I pay $29.70 a month, they take it out automatically but give me an email reminder on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Obviously, it is for people like us with a terminal illness since no medical history is involved.
So I just passed my second year mark from the date I signed up for it and now it is valid at the princely sum of $7,000. The price never goes up. If you want say $10,000 it is about $50.00 a month. They do not pay out in FULL until after two years. So if one should pass before the two year mark, their beneficiary will receive just what they have paid thus far plus 10% which would just be a couple of hundred.
But if one should die due to an accident, the $7,000 would be paid in full. It is called guaranteed whole term life insurance. I am so glad I just hit the two year mark so it would now be paid in full.
