BOTOX AND FILLERS
🙋♀️While on Ibrance and Faslo.
I also had my teeth capped right after diagnosis. My dentist intimated I was wasting my money. I told him I planned to be around long enough to make it worth it, and if I wasn’t, at least I could die smiling! 😬
Me on Ibrance. But my dermatologist cautions I should wait 4 months after covid vaccine. Some patients have bad swelling when Botox or fillers are done too closely
My onco said she did not think botox was a problem but she was not sure of fillers. Ridiculous that I am actually thinking of this at 71 and here. But, I am asking just the same!
You should do what pleases you, don't worry what others think!! Two years after I was diagnosed with de novo MBC with bone mets only, I decided to have a breast reduction. I had always wanted to do it bc they were so large! I did not have a detectable breast mass so it didn't affect my treatment!
I'm so glad I did it!
Hahaha! I totally agree with you. But, my issue is not at ALL about what someone else thinks. Something I really never did. But, I sometimes think that all the things I do are because I am so vain. Then I think, vanity really, all the scars I have had over the years are what make me amazing, and should not be so important that I look good. Mind you, I do not loose sleep over this. Also, not the least of considerations is the fact that my MBC is spread out in my liver and lining of abdomen, plus various bones. I am on taxol and xgeva-- so I want to strongly consider that but I did not get a very strong reaction from my onco on either. So, I brought it to mind again--end of week off of course---IF even that! It will not bother me one way or the other as I still look younger than I am, blessed with good genes from my Italian mother--just got lucky!
I was getting Botox and fillers before the diagnosis of MBC and and had it done again after after checking that there is no interactions with my drugs. This is part of my routine
