Taking letrozole at night

I have been taking letrozole each morning before breakfast. But I am wondering if I might change to in the evening or right before bedtime. I do experience dizziness in the late mornings and thought maybe the change would be good. I will ask my doctor about this but I’m curious to know others experiences!

I take my Letrozole in the morning and Ibrance at night. It doesnt bother me. I use to get nauseous but its very rare now.

I was told to take it near bedtime as it can cause hot flushes. It does so before bed is best for me. Hope that helps.

I personally take mine in the morning but understood you can take it at any time of the day as long as you do that consistently. There may be some benefit in terms of taking it at night as what it is designed to do is help sit on the oestrogen receptors as you are trying to block the most cancer driving form of oestrogen ~ Oestradiol getting into the cells and we do produce more of that at night.

We are all unique special beings, so find what works for you would be my advice.

I take it in the morning with my other meds and supplements. I think it contributes to my insomnia. I take Ibrance in the evening and am doing well with this schedule.

I take it with Ibrance at night so I am not eating anything to help the Ibrance work. I have to drink plenty of water throughout the day though.Clare

Since I read from the start that it could cause dizziness and fatigue, I have always taken it (and my Ibrance) with my dinner. Works well for me.

I take mine at night..when I first started I took it in the morning...it really made a difference for me switching to night...you can always try it and see what happens
