need recommendations for hair loss. mine is very shot and thin,looks like old man. hats or scarves. what type of hat? no wig thats out. where to look for head covering

I use Rogaine for women which my oncologist said was okay. It has kept hairlossto a minimum. If you are on an AI such as letrozole it can cause male pattern baldness which is what Rogaine or minoxidil remediates. I’d ask my onc first. Kate

This is what I use I have short dark hair, and of course it is thinning in the front. Check out this it has worked for me. Stays until you wash it out. Be sure to get the applicator makes it easy to spray where you need, and then pat down

Hair loss was the first thing I though of when I got this diagnosis, over 17 years ago. I went to a hair salon that specializes in hair loss, got fitted and ordered an expensive wig! Then I found out my treatment would probably not make me lose my hair so I cancelled the wig order but did later buy two less expensive wigs. One thing I have noticed is that over time, I see more and more women out and about with bald heads. Some wear scarfs and others wear hats and some don't cover their heads at all. Many cancer centers and American Cancer Society offices have head coverings that they offer patients. I did find out that I have a large head, and my brother loves to kid me about that, lol! I hope you will find what you are looking for and be able to feel at peace with this!

Hats suit me, but I never wore them. Hot and whatever, but with my hair thinning, I have taken to wearing them often. I have a collection of straw hats with brims, and look quite chic for me. I especially have to have them in summer, because I swim a lot and the bald spots show. The wind is a problem because it blows my carefully arranged hair back, and the hat off. I also cut my hair pretty short. For some reason, that helps.
