has anyone who is on Ibrance and letrezol experienced a permanent runny nose and watery itchy eyes? I have tried Claritin, zyrtec, and allegra with no improvement with any of them. Doctor even gave me a steroidal nasal spray, no help either. I am at my wits end. Help!!!

Allergies with Ibrance and Letrezol
Alnmouth,
My nose has been on the runny side too, and I knew that I was not sick. I rarely have allergies also. Maybe it was the Ibrance!?
Best,
Colleen
Hi. I am on my second cycle of Ibrance with Letrezole and just last week started to experience the (almost) constant runny nose and itchy eyes. Other than Hycosan Extra eye drops, I have not taken anything for these, just putting up with it as it's really the only side effect I have experienced. Hoping it will go away on my "off" week that's coming up.
Yes, I have watery, itchy eyes and stuffy sinuses. I'm taking claritin and zyrtec, using Azelastine spray and saline spray. Annoying but tolerable.
I’ve been taking Ibrance and Letrozole for over 3 1/2 years now. I have been suffering with itchy runny eyes and runny nose since. I take Zyrtec and Benadryl and have tried every kind of eye drop and ointment with no success. Minor but annoying side effect I guess.
Wow! I didn’t know this was a side- effect of Ibrance. My nose runs constantly— and I just thought it was allergies. I am going to try the sinus “cleanser” Navage. It works by water cleansing sinuses. I’ll let you know how it works!.... or if the treatment being worse than the runny nose!
i have been on Ibrance and Anastrozole for 5.4 years. for me, Ibrance aggravates allergies, and i feel as if i have a cold, as well as persistent dry eyes. further, 1% of people taking Ibrance experience sinusitis; that's me. i prepare for each cycle: eye drops, dry eye moist heat compress, supplements, Traditional Chinese Medicine, XLEAR nasal spray, and western med, if needed.
Interesting. I have allergies and didn't realize that Ibrance aggravates them!
Hi I took get itchy eyes and runny nose but not as bad as you. By the sounds of it ..I have tried sprays etc the only one that seems to work is optrix the one you spray in the eyelid . Hope you find something to help you Best wishes Cheryl
I have runny, itchy eyes and a runny nose since being on Ibrance. So annoying. I use eyedrops and blow my nose all day. Nasal spray doesn't work.
Good to know! Just this week, the itching and running eyes got so bad I began to think what I can do about it. Nose runs, too, and slight sore throat. Was wondering what I could be allergic to in the winter. So another side effect. I thought it might partly be the dry eye that my opthalmologist says all of her patients have (I am skeptical that we all do). As I understand it, dry eye can lead to runny eyes. This is helpful to know. If you are trying something, let us know how it works.
I am trying Non Drowsy Claritin 10mg & 240 mg pseudoephedrine . It has been the best for me so far . My pharmacist has told me a prescription equivalent would be Cetrizine 20mg .
