She has a Tea Room come Vintage shop.
It was Chocolate, raspberry flavoured with a caramel and jam filling. Delightful.

Beautiful! That is an amazing creation and another cake decoration I intend to plagiarize Yes, I know that that is the incorrect use of the word but it feels as if that is what I am doing.
Last weekend, I made a devil's food birthday cake and attempted to decorate it with those beautiful big flowers that had been on your cake. Perhaps I will improve with practice.
For the last five out of seven days, I baked something and managed to dispose of everything but today's offerings. Today's cookies will go to the garbage men for tomorrow's pick up, for my lovely mail woman and for one of my grandchildren.

You will certainly get there with the baking. Sally has been practicing her icing skills and being playful with colours. The food colouring is all natural thank goodness. Reminds me of the 60’s/70’s colours and I’m not sure why.
Pity about your cookies. Somehow they don’t appeal to some folks.
Keep it up and post some photos if you can.

Thank you. We did have fun with it all. We will never grow up. We had a lovely brought in Turkish Meal and a huge slice of cake after hence we did not feel hungry this morning ha ha.

Enjoy! A new friend gave me a box of baklava on Friday and I've enjoyed munching my way through! But there's plenty of spinach and kale in the rest of my diet! Xxx

Baklava and Kataifi are two of my most favourite pastries. Along with Apple Strudel they are right up there with my choice of food. I have a sweet tooth.
I’ve tried making both. They came out ok but not as good as those shop bought. We have a shop near us that sells everything and he has the Kataifi pastry in his freezer all year round. It looks like shredded wheat.

I am ok , I have my appointment with my oncologist tomorrow to go over my biopsy results and see what my treatment / treatments options are . So the usual scanxiety but trying to keep busy . I am starting to get a few orders for Christmas arrangements and doing wedding quotes for next year it helps me think of something else .
Snowdrops are so sweet . You will have to show us pictures in the spring . I am hoping to get my hands on a few more bulbs to try to force some indoor for my own enjoyment .

Let us know how you get on Luann. Anxious times to say the least. I haven’t received my appointment yet for my CT scan but it’s due mid November. First one since February.
Hyacinths are nice to have around Christmas time. The smell is gorgeous as you know.
Well done with your orders. It’s great to have an interest in something. It really does occupy your mind.

Well the biopsy is showing a spread of the breast cancer to lymph nodes in throat area . It has been suggested that I do 5 radiation treatments and then I will have a new treatment plan in about 3 weeks .My oncologist thinks another hormone therapy might work . So I guess my ibrance days are done. It is weird the bone lesions and lung lesions have not shown progression BUT now a new area . ???
