I was wondering this too, I don't want to make it fall out!
I color mine every six weeks without a problem.
I have blonde foil highlights every three months and have done so for 2 1/2 years whilst on Ibrance 125 mg ! x
I’ve been coloring mine except for now that we are sheltering. It’s half grown out at this point...short hair...so I might see what it looks like without coloring for a while. I might lose my claim to the “red” name however!
I color my hair every six weeks or so. Hair is dry and definitely thinning on top only. Make sure your beautician uses a gentle color. There are some that are easier on the hair than others. I have been on Ibrance and Anastrozole for over a year. I did purchase a wig that I had cut and styled exactly like my own hair don't wear it much as it is hot in the summer. I do wear a lot of baseball caps and other hats when going out as it is more convenient. Best of luck with your hair. It is important to feel like you look nice.

i've continued to color this hair since the initial dx in Oct 2011; it is "unnaturally" red, now. what has changed is the product i use...Naturtint. i like it better than other home or salon products. i receive compliments on the color and health of the hair.
I choose not to ever color my hair because all bleach and dye is toxic to some degree. It does get absorbed by the body too. So my personal choice is to not add anything to my body when it’s already fighting against cancer.
I haven't coloured mine since the lock down. My hair has now grown out of colour and is now a soft brown, grey and blonde. It looks OK. I have found that using anti perspirspirant and deodorant made the affected lymph nodes sore. This is only my experience, many others will have different views.
