The latest statistics show that one person out of every 100 that have been tested for the Coronavirus in New York have died. For those of you who are thinking this virus is no big deal, it is. Please help out your fellow citizens by quarantining yourself as much as possible. I know it is a hardship to many, but death or becoming extremely ill is a worse hardship. There are many that have to go to work, they are our caregivers. We can help them by staying home. My prayers go out to all of them.

I agree 100% Elaine. The cases are expected to rise exponentially in the next few weeks. What we can do, especially with compromised immune systems, is keep ourselves as isolated as possible so we don't add to the case load. My next chemo is scheduled for March 26 but I'm already thinking I won't be going near the hospital by then. I'd be interested to know what others are hearing from their oncologists about continuing treatment through this critical time.
In the last two days I've played UNO and Battleship with my grandkids via FaceTime....we had a blast! This week I'm grateful for the magic little phone that is helping me stay connected.
Thank goodness for social media! We would be lost without it. I have an oncology appointment today. I will be going because the offices are not part of any hospital. Elaine
Exactly. Its time to wake up. No panicking, no drama but this is real its happening. If we all follow advice and people stop thinking for whatever reason it doesnt apply to them, we'll get through it but people need to start treating it seriously. I include my husband in that too, I really dont know why but he just isnt getting it but burying your head in the sand isnt going to help anyone.
