When I was on the Ibrance and falsodex, I noticed certain foods like anything with red sauce would give me heartburn. I just started taking Tums before I ate and that made all the difference. Now I am on Verzenio and it comes and goes, so I always have a full bottle of Tums in my apt., and carry some in my pocketbook. I was easily able to figure out my trigger point was red sauce used in Italian food.

I do not have a cell phone. Yes, I am that one person. There are the Tums ones you can swallow. I buy the chewable ones that come in different fruit flavors. They are 750 mg. They also sell 500 mg. and 1,000 mgs. but I find the 750 mg. work best for me. I do not take them or need to take them every day, will take chew one if I know I am going to have some sort of Italian food with sauce or something spicy. They have so many different flavors and some you can swallow like a capsule. I just prefer the tums that I can chew. When I worked at a law firm with about 15 attorneys, four paralegals and four secretaries, I can tell you that everyone always kept a container of Tums in their drawers. You can google and see if you would prefer mint flavored, or no flavored, or the ones that help with a gassy stomach also.

I also use chewable Tums and react to spicy foods, and citrus. I also eat smaller meals than I used to, especially the evening meal.
