Just wondering how anyone with these mets is doing.

Liver, lungs and spine mets
I have lung Mets. 5 years. No new ones and some have shrunk when I started faslodex. On faslodex and Ibrance.
Diagnosed with lung and bone mets. Spread to my liver after I took a 2-month break from Afinitor (because of problems with my lung lining). My oncologist hoped to put me back on Afinitor when my lungs healed, but after the liver progression, she put me on the Faslodex/Ibrance combiniation, which got rid of the liver mets. Progression to liver after 2 years of Faslodex/Ibrance. Switched to Xeloda. Again, got rid of the liver mets. So, after 4 different treatments since diagnosis in August 2013, I'm pretty much where I was when I started.
How are you doing?
I was diagnosed with widespread mets to bone, liver and lung in June 2018 following a fall where I fractured my shoulder.
As my first line treatment, I was prescribed pabociclib, letrozole and Denosumab. I’m currently doing really well with minimal side effects. Recent scans and blood tests show stability. I’m so very grateful to be on these meds under our nhs system.
I love life and live every day to the full.
Wishing everyone well with their treatment.

So happy for you. I was diagnosed with the same just before Christmas. Unfortunately my lung was damaged during a biopsy and I had a week in hospital. It has been a hard road back with the pleural effusion it caused, but I can now walk up the hills in my hilly seaside town if I keep stopping for breath. Unfortunately after radiotherapy I missed treatment with pabociclib for four rounds as there were four bank holidays here in N Ireland so I had three weeks on two weeks off. Oncologist moved me on to Taxol as liver mets had grown. Now I am on 18 rounds of Taxol and have a Picc line. Just wish I had had a proper chance with the papociclib without missing so many treatments, so glad you are doing so well x
I have Mets to lungs since 11/1/1/17-started Ibrance/letroziole immediately and @ 15 mos showed no radiographic evidence of disease. Is denosumab also a targeted therapy if so is it for breast Mets to different organs—I’ve never heard of that with I/L combo?
