Hi Ladies

I wrote recently that I have to stay in Oxford for about 10 days for this radiation

The oncology nurse rang yesterday and told me I can have it done here in Nottingham...(just have to have a scan in Birmingham first) but so relieved I don’t have to be away as I’ll miss my fur babies and be lonely

These small things make such a big difference sometimes especially when worried and a bit emotional

I think it’s going to be in a few weeks time as have to have 2 different scans to make a 4 D picture for accuracy of the beam this is next week

Honestly I’m surprised there’s anything left of me...in the last 2 months I’ve already had a CT and a PET scan..now another CT and an MRI ...not good but necessary

It’s amazing what our bodies can cope with...radiation ..meds..side effects..I’m really getting fed up of it all

Anyway I’m going to get my jodhpurs on..pick up my friend as her cars broken and we’ll have a ride out...at least the rain has stopped

Very much...I would have been stuck somewhere unfamiliar and boring as well as feeling rubbish so I’m relieved
