He weighs approximately 600 kg..over half a ton!!.. I know it when he’s accidentally stood on my feet..had a broken toe not long ago!!.. he is sweet and gentle..I can do anything with him..mutual trust

I have a chestnut horse as well called Monty..he’s Hanoverian x warmblood...he’s now 29 yrs old and still active..my daughter rides him out..we have some lovely hacks but I do worry about him..he’s lost quite a few teeth so struggles with his hay but we feed him soft mashes with all the nutrients and he looks fantastic

Monty and Bugsy are very lucky horses with all your loving care and attention. They are a lovely distraction. I felt such a sense of freedom and excitement riding among the fields in those days with Cherub. 🐴

Thanks for sharing your picture of Bugsy, what a treasure you have there. I love all these pictures people are putting on. As was said, it certainly makes one feel more normal. It was taken last summer when we almost had a drought and the grass turned yellow..it almost looks like a painting I thought ...one of my favourite pictures of him
