So since last Friday the 8th I had a crown put on a root canal tooth. This tooth has been abscesses fro 3+ years. He did a root canal and when he drilled open the tooth, puss was pouring out... he said tonassitant ā€œwow Iā€™ve never seen so much ā€œfluidā€ from one tooth!ā€ So he left the room to go check on other patients and came back 5 to 10 minutes later and sai I canā€™t believe itā€™s still draining!! Now Iā€™m thinking red flag here! Heā€™s thinking ā€œI donā€™t have time for this today. So instead of referring me to an endodontist he just closed it up like that! Gave me some antibiotics and then put a filling over it. Well fast forward Iā€™ve had an intermittent lump on the roof of my mouth that goes away during antibiotics but comes right back. The tooth ended up chipping and he decided to put a crown on it. Well I had the most foul taste in my mouth and my eye is swollen on that side. Iā€™ve had fevers from 99.5 to 100.9 since that Friday to 3 days ago. Then my ear was hurting so bad and radiating down my neck. So my oncologist had added on CT scan of my face after my PET scan yesterday. Iā€™m terrified! How can the ever get that infection out since itā€™s coming from that root canal tooth? He stopped all treatment said to got to a dentist and possibly pull the tooth. GLADLY!! As I did research 98% of people with root canals and illness freaked me out. I high percentage of women with breast cancer had a root canal on the same side as the breast canceršŸ˜³ Iā€™ve had 4 one on each side top and bottom. 99% of the time the took the bacteria from the ill persons root canal tooth and placed under a rabbits skin, the rabbit got the persons illness or disease! These studies were even done from the Mayo Clinic so itā€™s not just some random person. I watched a documentary Root Cause and the ADA had it pulled and now you canā€™t watch it anywhere but purchase through Amazon. They said it would put endodontics out of business. But if itā€™s possible to cause MS, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, etc... why wonā€™t they inform people!

Please read these both. This has studies from the Mayo Clinic as well. :

Just do research... Also notice many dentists and doctors that bring too much attention to this end up getting fired or losing their license. Or called quacks etc.. the evidence is overwhelming.

The tests done donā€™t lie. Itā€™s scary and you can chose to do what you want with this. I never paid much attention to it until now that Iā€™m being affected by it and probably have for years since they never had an answer to my CFS, Fibromyalgia, anxiety etc..

Hi

There is absolutely no proof that root canal treatment is connected to breast cancer so donā€™t even go there!

However I would advise you to have the tooth removed..you can always have either a fixed or Maryland bridge later..no point in hanging on to a diseased tooth..the infection is chronic and will keep coming back

Iā€™m a retired dentist by the way!!

My dentist said root canal, oncologist said go to oral surgeon. Tooth really hurts not sure what the end result is going to be. Thank you for sharing though. Nice to have feedback when making tough decisions. Prayers

I've never heard of mouth infection/root canal related to breast cancer. However, I can 100% conirm the link between mouth infections and heart problems. 15 years ago, I didn't realize I had an abcessed tooth. The infection gravatated to my heart, which is very common, and destroyed 2 heart valves. I had to have open heart surgery to have the 2 valves replaced, had a 3-week hospital stay and had to get a pacemaker a year later (common after the kind of heart surgery I had). Don't mean to panic you, I would strongly suggest you run, don't walk, to a dentist who can take care of this. I'm sure antibiotics are helping, but you need to get rid of the infection either with a root canal or just pulling the tooth. Heart complications associated with mouth infections are common and well-known and you certainly don't need heart problems on top of everything else.

The dentist you saw sounds like an idiot and should have his license yanked. You need to get this taken care of. I'm surprised your onc. doesn't appear to be alarmed by this chronic infection. Can't he/she refer you to someone?
