Headache

Hi All

I am on my week off from Ibrance. Had my Xgeva and Faslodex shots today. I’ve been very headachy since . Has anybody else experienced headaches after the shots.

This is my sixth round and I’ve never had headaches before.

I had my xgeva yesterday and started next course of Ibrance and feel terrible..splitting headache and pain everywhere more than usual..don’t know why

I’m not on Xgeva, but don’t have headaches after faslodex.

Hi,

I always seem to get a headache after the Faslodex shots, used to get one after Lupron years ago. I usually take a Tylenol or Motrin before the shot to avoid it. I think it is because the shots mess with my hormones.

Hi Gwennie; I don't know if this is an option for you, but I try to stagger my Xgeva and Faslodex shots so they are a few weeks apart instead of on the same day. Though I haven't noticed side effects yet with either, I figure if I do get something I'll have a better idea of the cause. I also do Xgeva every other month instead of monthly....my choice, but my onc agreed, even though I have extensive bone mets.

I'll be starting Ibrance soon.

Just got petscan results. Quite positive. Reacting well to the Ibrance Faslodex exgeva. All positive but the right hip is still not great. Otherwise I am feeling quite up and thankful

I wont take it. I had it once a jerked and shook all day and muscles twitched it was horrible andthis lasted over3 weeks.

I generally also get a headache after my faslodex shots!
