I was recently switched from 125 to 100 and still have 7 pills that are just be wasted. Does anyone know where I can donate this to others? My pharmacist doesn't want it back. Thanks hugs to all of you!

I also tried to give some unused Ibrance back but to no avail!!.. nobody will take ‘second hand’ drugs..I suppose in case they’ve been tampered with??..ridiculous when you think how much they cost and someone could benefit

The cost is outrageous!!! Luckily I have good insurance but at nearly 1k per pill it's seems ridiculous not to be able to donate it to those with little to no insurance.

Yes, I have thought alit about it as well. But, it is a whole legal thing and quite frankly, if you did donate somehow you would probably go to jail. So sad.

I’ve thought about that too. I have a whole 21 day supply because they switched me after my 100 mg pills were delivered and before I started them. It seems like a real waste but no one wants them back.

Hi. I did a search on "how to donate unused prescription drugs" and found several results. Here's one: cancer.net/blog/2014-04/wha...

If you search around the internet, you should find some help,

Unfortunately there is no way to allocate the unused prescription to another. It is the law. It is just a shame at about $500/per pill and many unable to afford their co-pay there should be a way.

Ibrance is cytotoxic, any unused capsules should be returned to where it was prescribed.

I have two months supply. Not even opened. It’s against the law to donate them. It’s for security reasons.

Just another waste.
