I am so grateful to have found this site and have benefited from all the shares. In particular, I developed those painful mouth sores last week. I was on my third cycle of Ibrance. Someone here, I don't remember who, mentioned using francansence oil . I was desperate for some relief and gave it a try. I put a few drops of the oil on my finger tip and rubbed it in the sore. It only took a couple of applications before the sore was gone.

Secondly, I was ready to totally give up Ibrance because I had no quality of life. So totally exhausted, I couldn't climb one stair without sitting down and doing a simple task like standing and loading the dishwasher was impossible. My husband had to feed the dogs because it was too much for me. I was taking Letrizole and Ibrance when I first got up in the morning. Someone on this forum mentioned taking the meds at night instead. Well the past two days I switched to taking them before bed. The results are amazing. I actually could walk across the floor and brush my teeth while standing up. I feel like I'm getting my life back.

I am so grateful to all who share thoughts and experiences dealing with this monster disease. You never know which simple share can really help.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Patricia

Yes I agree that this site is great for getting information or just for comfort when we are upset. I was on letrozole and Ibrance for almost two years. I was tired and had some thinning of my hair but that was it. When it stopped working went on Faslodex and Afinitor. Right now I am on only Faslodex and waiting for them to find another one. Right now I feel good, so I agree that it is the meds we are taking that cause us to be tired and have all the side effects. But if we don't try to hold it off it will spread faster. This site has helped me so much. First you learn that people have had this for years. When first diagnosed I thought I had months to live. Doctors will not give you any time info. Then I see everyone here and think to myself, I have time. They give you hope without any really any negatives. They pray for each other and share your worries. So again I love this site.
