Is it possible to develop "chemo brain" while taking oral meds? I've been on Ibrance and lettozole for 18 months but in the last several weeks I feel more and more forgetful.

Chemo brain
Hi Boogitymom,
I've experienced lots of forgetfulness while on oral chemo drugs. I'm on Afinitor and Aromasin now and the forgetfulness continues and drives me crazy! I'm constantly going around the house saying, "Where are my keys? Where's the paper that I was just reading?" etc. etc. It's endless.
Guess this us something we have to contend with while battling our BC problems. No one likes it!
You're in good company. Best wishes, Kats2
I take letrozole it stops the cells from dividing and growing fast the cancer I have grows fast so the less is all stops it from dividing but also stops dividing good sales as well you have brain cells heart cells kidney cells just a variety of cells that grow fast so you have to get off medicine a little while so your body can heal itself because you will forget things you have problems remembering hard to get into your index in your brain because your brain is is so finite and it's constantly needs cells to replace the old sales that are either damaged or broken or fading away maybe you may want to ask your doctor about stopping your medication for like one or two weeks and then go back on it again this might help you cuz it help me not to have chemo brain and it works very well and this makes it not so hard on my heart as well
Yes I forget what I'm saying while I'm saying it (I'm on 2nd cycle of letrozole/ibrance)
