I want to say I had stage 2 breast cancer in Nov.2004 in my left breast a 33 treatments of radiation .And then once again in 2006 in June in my right breast this time. I had 33 more treatments of radiation and 5 years of cancer meds . I wondering if any one else here has had the same thing happen to them and how you did in years following ?

Hello, Wanda, Thank you for contacting SHARE's group. But it seems that you have early stage breast cancer, not metastatic breast cancer. This is SHARE's metastatic breast cancer group. That's when the breast cancer has spread outside the area of the breast to another spot, like the bones, lung, or liver, for example. But SHARE also has a breast cancer group for early stage survivors on HealthUnlocked. As to your question, I just want to mention that I think it's not unusual to get another primary breast cancer in the opposite breast. Joan
