I was diagnosed literally a year ago today. Currently NEAD after doing 8 months of Xgreva, radiation and switching from arimidex to tamoxifen. Looking forward to getting to know you also!

Hi I am new to this site but I am on Xgeva once a month and every 2 weeks I am on Ibrance (oral chemo) and every day I take Femara. After the Ibrance I am on Neupogen for 3 days. The neupogen causes excruciating bone pain...but right now after the 2nd PET/CT scan I have no active cancer. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Michelle, how are you...I'm anxious. Got my second round of Faslodex on Friday and will have my second zometa therapy next Friday along with the Ibrance I take daily. I found out I had Mets because I was having hip pain for weeks and found out my hip was broken and the cancer had spread to bone. Just finished 10 rounds of radiation and hip feeling better and I able to walk with cane now. Has anyone had their hip break. Having first PET Scan end of December since starting treatment and I'm scared to death but thinking positive..anyone else using Ibrance and Faslodex, if so how's it going..thanks

I also had hip pain. We didn't think anything of it since i had broken my foot and was lugging around a big boot. After a couple of months, I had a mri that showed bone mets in my hips. I then had a pet with a ct and a bone biopsey.I started xgreva, switched from arimidex to tamoxifen and had radiation . I'm currently NEAD and hopefully will stay that way for awhile.

I also had terrible pain but in my ribs. Had 2 rib fractures, which was how we found out I had the cancer. Daily Letrozol and XGEVA injections every 4 weeks. Prayers for all of you battling this.

Pain just my hip was the first symptom of metastatic cancer to my hip bone . Radiation increased the pain. Do not like pain pills and Dr doesn't think know need hip replacement yet. Currently on Ibrance, Faslodex , Zometa . I am now getting a steroid shot right in to my hip bone to see if if alleviates the pain.

Started treatment in January and it has shrunk the tumor with no new cancer showing up. From that standpoint I am doing good. Trying to resolve the hip pain issue.
