I’m Lakshmi from Bangalore, india. I work as a consultant with NGOs. Im a member of the Diabetes community too. I’m 72 and the mother of a lovely young woman, a breast cancer survivor who got the big C at age 36. Now 7 years on, she’s experiencing painful side effects of the Tamoxifen hormone treatment she has to take for 10 years. Lymphedema, swelling in finger and wrist joints, shoulder pain, hair loss, disturbed sleep.
