Hi EvaL, I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with this. But you need not go through it alone. I volunteer for a wonderful organization called Share, which offers a variety of support resources for women with metastatic breast cancer, including a telephone helpline, in-person and telephone support groups, and a variety of educational programs. I know about the organization because I used it when I was diagnosed, so I can vouch for it from both sides! If you'd like to speak with someone about Share's services--all of which are free--just call 844-275-7427. Warmest regards.

Hi EvaL , I'm so glad you found us. I can only imagine what you're going through right now. I echo IGotSunshine about reaching out to the SHARE helpline- you'll be connected with others who've been where you are and can help you through this. Please also don't hesitate to reach out to us on this forum with any questions/concerns. Wishing you all the best.

Thank you very much. I have felt like I'm all alone out here because people are always talking about Survivors. I'm not really a survivor. I'm glad I have found you and I may give your organization a call.

I also suffer stage 4 metastatic breast cancer to my bones so far. It is terribly confusing to deal with day by day let alone considering the future. My approach has been go day by day and operate under the assumption there is a future without becoming completely absorbed with its challenges and opportunities. I believe I understand the emotional struggle you're experiencing. I know I struggle daily. I am even on meds for depression and anxiety. I am also very spiritual, and God offers me peace in my heart most days. I wish you all the best as you move forward. Thank you for sharing your post. I am only now seeking support after my diagnosis 6 years ago.
