Here's an article my yoga instructor just sent to me about the benefits of yoga for cancer survivors. Yoga has helped me though my sarcoma treatments 6-1/2 years ago and is helping me through my breast cancer treatments now.

When I was first diagnosed with breast cancer, I felt as though my body had turned against me. When I lost my hair and later my breasts, I looked like a stranger to myself. Through yoga, I began to understand that my body was an ally in renewing my health. Yoga also helped me to accept my new appearance and appreciate my body for its strength and ability to heal itself. Throughout my treatment--which included surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and Herceptin--yoga helped me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Also, it's fun!
