Hi TimmyA, it is a shame you can't get hold of her, but well done for thinking about these aspects of your health. Many Sexually Transmitted Infections do not have any symptoms in the early stages so they can do the damage before you even know they are there. It is always best to get checked out. Your GP could do this, or your local family planning or GUM clinic. These days there are home testing kits that you can buy on the Internet, but always make sure they are from a reputable source. Some testing kits need you to wait a short time before testing so ask your provider. Good luck!
Most of times there are no symptoms for STI'S..however itching ,burning and d discharge from the penis could be a few symptoms. You could get a blood test done to reveal any kind of STI'S. This would keep you safe.
