Tamsulosin , a side effect of this prostrate med..I am afraid to take it...I was told ejection fluid empties into the bladder,,,I'm curious, does this happen all the time to you or occasionally? I may need to take tamsulosin coz of my worsening condition.

Sounds like retrograde ejaculation if it’s emptying into your bladder, I’ve had no formal investigations as of yet as only happened a couple of times over the last month, I’m taking Tamsulosin for urinary problems and have been for the last 3 or 4 years.

Happens to me 50% of the time since I began taking tamsulosin tablets. It’s not unpleasant. Just odd.

It’s a big reason I stopped taking Tamsulosin and switched to a low dose of Cialis. Although I seem to get better results with an herbal alternative with saw palmetto and a few other ingredients. I’m never sure which supplement works best but look for something with prostate on the label and you will probably find it. I only take half of whatever they suggest since it can cause diarrhea.

Do you think Cialis may also account for you getting diahorrea? I think the two are related in my experience.

I’ve never noticed that with Cialis—I do notice back pain with higher doses.

I’ve escaped the back pain so far. But I am only taking 5mg a day. The most I have taken is 10mg.

I stopped taking Tamsulosin for this reason. I felt that the pleasure of the climax was removed completely; all the effort of masturbation resulted in a complete anti-climax. My urologists just couldn’t understand my feelings on this matter and we’re completely unhelpful.

I switched from Tamsulosin to .5 mg Cialis because of the dizziness the Flowmax was causing. I've never heard of diarrhea being associated and have not experienced it myself. Having had HDR-BT treatment for prostate cancer my ejaculations are 99% dry and will remain that way forever. Oddly it seems that the trade off was dry ejaculation for longer and more intense orgasms - electric would be my description!

That can be a result surgery and or meds that you take. There is nothing harmful about it or problematic unless you are trying to father a child
