It is easy to feel overwhelmed with the amount of ‘medical language’ being used when discussing a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).

A sudden cardiac arrest and a heart attack are both emergency situations - you need to dial 999 in UK or 911 in US immediately.

Please download our leaflet Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) v's Heart Attack for more information:

US: api.heartrhythmalliance.org...

If you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Services team on; +44 1789 867 501 or our contact form below:

US: heartrhythmalliance.org/aa/...
