I going to jump straight to the point! Is it safe to drink a glass of wine a few weeks after a heart attack?

Hello, it is important to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle, you may be interested in visiting our Arrhythmia Alliance website for helpful information booklets and download some of our videos presented by health care professionals offering advice and help too heartrhythmalliance.org/aa/... I would like to recommend our Mindfulness and Healthy Living booklet. If you need any further help, please contact the Patient Services team direct.

Of course the answer mist be that it depends on your actual condition, your medications, etc, so talk to your doctor. When I went to cardiac rehab I remember they said 2 drinks per day for male and 1 for female, which I am sure is what they tell every living human. If you suffered actual heart damage or have impaired function in general it probably makes sense to avoid it, but this is up to you.

It is not surprising you are worrying about every little thing...and it does depend on how you feel..but my advice is that a bit of what you like does you good...BUT if you are worrying about it wait till you are more confident and relaxed...life will return..
