It is unlikely RLS will receive much coverage but I am going to watch it nevertheless as we were told there may be a reference to RLS. It is a series of episodes so it could be mentioned in any of these. Thanks for letting us all know the day and time!

it's in 2 parts thats it ... shouldn't imagine they're will be much on RLS looking at the clip they showed of two different people one with night horrors and another of a person walking about so who knows ... lol

just thought folk would be interested :)

Dont hold your breathe Daragh....

what a ..........................@)*&^%%^ please do watch it folk then tell us what you think

Thanks for the info. There was a bit about this on Breakfast BBC yesterday but again no mention of RLS - I did wonder if it was because half the medical profession don't know about it and the other half don't believe us! Woke last night with the sharp jabbing pain in my legs which makes me move like I have been stabbed. Ibrufen didn't help but have to go to work today as floods stopped me yesterday.

I suspect the doctors didn't have much choice with what was shown. The producers will have gone with what they thought made best television. I know RLS is a specialist interest of Dr Anderson though as she has peer reviewed publications. Pubmed list is here: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?ter...

I understand they're also launching an online therapy service at sleepstation.org.uk, although for insomnia, not RLS.

Not what you're looking for?
