Has any one been on Neupro Patch 6mg and Pramipexole and found that stopped working?

hi, yes i was on the patch, had to keep upping the dose, to 8 mgs!!, then asked my doctor to chaange my meds, im on mirapexin (pramipexole) now, and still have to up the dose, when needed, but so far this has been the best med for me. I think all meds eventually stop working as our systems get used to them.

Hi but do you find the pramipexole makes you very sleepy? if i take the dose i need i just cant stay awake after 8pm

hi, well im on the slow release version, of it, so i take one pill at bedtime, and it makes me sleepy then, but thats good for me, as its bedtime anyway. Are you taking the other one that you have to take through the day ??

Hi, i only take one tablet in the evening i admit i sleep most nights but i cant seem to sit down longer than 30mins during the day or evening without my legs starting so i am not relaxing and as i am still working i am feeling worn out with it all. I would just like to find something that allows me to sit and relax during the evening. Everything i take works at first but only for about a couple of weeks then i am back to square one!!

Yes on both counts... I'm now trying a course of vitaCalm a herbal medicine, but at this point in time don't hold out much hope... Vic
