RLS aind kidney disease.

I read an article today about the connection between kidney disease and RLS. I had always considered these two afflictions as separate entities, but now I'm curious and would like to ask if anyone here also has kidney disease and RLS, and if any of your doctors have discussed the connection with you.

RLS is very common in kidney disease.My close friend had terrible RLS but is now symptom free after a kidney transplant

I unfortunately have both, kidney disease and RLS. My team of doctors tell me that the two go hand in hand. I am trying to get on the Kidney Transplant List but I still have to wait just to get on the list. I went on Dialysis in October of 2021. They told me it would take 7 to 10 years until I get a kidney!!Hope this helps.

I have CKD, so did my mom. This is the first I’ve heard about the connection, so obviously my GP has never mentioned it. 🙄
