Hi. I've been taking a tramacet by 7pm and it's been keeping my rls at bay I've notice stress gives me a bit of an rls flare ..Just want to know if anyone went through augmentation on tramacet.

It was a nightmare coming off oxpola last year so I'm just afraid of it happening again

There are conflicting views/reports.There was One study about one patient who developed 'augmentation' on tramadol.

And a few anecdotal reports on here.

But many people find it helps.

However, as tramadol is a synthetic opioid, if it stops working, you can change to another low dose opioid ( codeine, hydrocodone, oxycodone or Buprenorphine) and the straight switch to another opioid would not give you withdrawal symptoms.
