If serum ferritin values could be increased to more than 200 μg/l in RLS patients, iron concentrations in the brain might reach levels seen in normal controls
Sorry for deleting former post saying the same thing but I decided to check the article after posting and at first couldn't find where it said this but after deleting the post and checking further I found it.
Also this is not research but Dr Buchfuhrer in response to Graham3196: "some patients need to get their ferritin levels above 200-300 in order to drive enough iron into the brain"
