Just had my fasting bloods checked and Ferritin has gone up to 112ug/l but TSAT has gone up to 47%. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but my RLS has improved greatly and so I’m reluctant to stop the iron. What would you advise please?

Thank you. My main question is should I continue with my usual dose of 60mg Iron Bisglycinate alternate nights or should I reduce the dose or stop it altogether?
I would continue, but reduce the dose, just to maintain levels. And see how that plays out. And also have your blood tested again for all iron values in about 6 months time.
I’d agree with LotteM. Keep taking a lower dose to maintain your levels. We were recently told at the RLS-UK AGM by an iron specialist that it’s almost impossible to overdose on iron supplements, your body has a very good regulation system to prevent that.
