Gabapentin

Hello, again I am seeking your advice. I am at the moment taking 1800mg gabapentin for RLS. It takes that amount to give me some peace so I can sleep.I was getting rather low and now also take 100mg Trazodone at night. I find when waking in the morning I have an unbearable headache. This is every morning. I do not want to stop the Trazodone as it is helping with my low mood. Is there anything I can do as the headache last till about lunchtime. It really is unbearable. Thank you all in advance.

You may wish to discuss with your doctor about switching to moclobemide.

Hi mate, I was getting bad cluster migraines, not sure if they were caused by side effects from a drug, or just part of fibro. My GP gave my prolanolol 40mg and it really helped to stop the migraines, its worth asking your GP about.

Thanks for that, don't know what's happening with my GP. She will now not prescribe any of the medication suggested on here. She used to, so I've insisted she refer me to neurology.

I have recently been taken off gabapentin and co dydromol by my GP, they are stopping it on nhs after stating it doesnt work for nerve pain, I beg to differ, probably trying to save money.
