Bioelectrical stimulators

Has anyone tried any of the bio electrical stimulators.

Many stimulate the vagus nerve. These are advertised for stress management and sleep. Another is repetitive transcranial brain stimulation which is used for depression (even in the NHS here in the UK). A sleep centre in Germany seems to have used the latter with some modest results. Any thoughts from the group? Thanks.

Vagus nerve stimulation has been discussed , but I haven't heard of any reports on TCS.

There have been a few studies on both. Moderately useful in those settings. Transcranial tends to be magnetic and takes 30 min/day for a few weeks I think. No known significant side effects so if convenient, affordable and suits you better than non augmenting type medications then give it a shot and let us know.
