Hello again: I have been taking Pregabalin since December 23. 150mg daily. I found the dosage was not quite enough so my GP increased by 25mg every 2-3 days. I got to 275mg daily but had to reduce as my balance had become very bad and being a stroke survivor that was very concerning. Also my weight had increased dramatically in such a short space of time.
Now I am back down to 75mg daily. My RLS is okay. I intend to reduce to zero over the next few weeks.
December 23, I also stopped taking Mirtazapine, Fexofenadine, Atorvastatin (I have been given a non statin replacement) and Pramipexole.
I will let you know how I get on in a few weeks.

Did you ever try switching to gabapentin? Since you say the 75 mg controls your symptoms. Pregabalin is much more likely to cause weight gain.
Another one to try is dipyridamole. You might want to discuss this with your doctor. It has helped some people on this forum and another forum I am on and has completely eliminated RLS in some. In the winter 2022 edition of Night Walkers, the publication of RLS.org there is an article by Sergi Ferre about dipyridamole discussing the effectiveness of it in a 2 week double blind placebo controlled study showing it completely ameliorated all symptoms. The study was by Dr. Garcia Borreguero movementdisorders.onlinelib...sciencedirect.com/science/a...
