I’ve now been now Pragabalin for some months, my dose 300mg, your advice has really helped me, splitting the dose has worked well, over the past five days I’ve been waking early hours unable to keep my legs still, I’m worrying about the doseage, am I on a high amount now, or could I increase it by 50mg, at what point will this medication stop working, it has given me great relief, what is the highest dose for restless legs they can give.

I don't take pregabalin but according to the Mayo Algorithm "Effective pregabalin doses are usually in the range of 150 to 450 mg per day." And SueJohnson replied to your post a month ago saying that "The normal effective dose is 200 to 300 mg but you can take up to 450 mg and even 600 mg". Hope that helps!
Yes she did say that thank you, I don’t particularly want to be going up to as much as600mg, this medication seems that you need to increase the dose very quickly I was just wondering if this was normal, I was on pramapexole for years, before it had no effect.
That's what the site is for (to ask questions) but the answers are often the same, based on expert advice from such as the Mayo Algorithm. Anyway, I hope it goes well for you!
It is normal to possibly have to increase the dose more than once in the first year. I did. After that it will be many years before you have to increase it again.
