My Remedy!!!

I thought twice about writing this because I am hoping it is still working after 4 days!!I was beginning to experience sleepless nights only being able to grab 3 or 4 hours 'here & there'!! but mai lying due to serious itchiness evidenced by small eruptions on my skin on my arms & legs

I decided to 'go for it' and increase my prescription to 3 x 50mg tramadol capsules but this time to take 2 x vitamin D tablets. To my absolute delight I have experienced 4 nights of 8 hours sleep each night!!

I will let you know how it performs later!!!

That's an interesting question!! On the container it states 10? But I am aware that I read somewhere on this site it mentioned 1600 UI?So I am having to research strengths?

My guess is that any increase in opioid ingestion is likely to further the palliative effects thereof. Not at all do I mean to imply you shouldn't have done so, as my methadone prescription is saving me from an extremely mean depression. May your blessed new-found ability to sleep continue unabated!

Hi there, I'm 83 . how much are you Px methadone x 2 daily and what dose please. I take 10 mg am & pm. It stops the need to walk or jog for hours but I endure 24 hrs agitation and tingling. Are you symptom free all the time? Thank you for reading my question. X

I'm 78. My methadone prescription (each month I receive 60 pills of 5 mg each) allows me 10 mg per day and gives me the option to split doses as I see fit. Normally, I take 5 mg (one pill) about 4 hours before I sleep and the other 5 mg about 1 hour before.

With this regimen, I'm NEARLY symptom-free all the time. If you're taking twice the dose (20 mg per day) that I do, I'm wondering whether you have triggers that you haven't identified.

Sue Johnson is unparalleled at identifying meds that may be counteracting the opioid's palliative effect; you won't go wrong by redirecting your inquiry to her. Or possibly you're over-sensitive to methadone - have you tried halving each of your doses?

Another possibility is to just take your 10 mg dose at night, say 9 pm, and skip your morning dose completely, in that it's usually during the night that RLS symptoms occur.

My best wishes to you.
