l have been recommended by a consultant to take DMannose for bladder pain. I have severe RLS and am worried in case this supplement can trigger or worsen my condition. Has anyone used it on this forum please, or does anyone know if it is likely to cause problems with my RLS?

Thank you for any replies ,l am so grateful for this forum.

It's great for preventing bladder UTIs and doesn't worsen RLS. I've taken it for the last few years for my MS neuropathic bladder. The bladder pain and spasms aren't helped by waterfall D mannose though, for that I take buscopan occasionally, or when the MS spasms are really painful, my urologist prescribes solifenacin.

My mum now takes this (for frequent UTIs) and hasn’t reported any worsening in her RLS 👍

I’ve been taking D Mannose for about six years and had no adverse reactions

Same as the others - I'm currently taking it. Has no effect on RLS (though I'm taking medication for RLS that theoretically might counteract such an effect. But I don't believe that.)

I started taking d-mannose last weekend, and had a horrible week with my RLS. I actually came here to see if anyone else has had the same issues, but i might be alone! I'm very sensitive to many medications where my RLS is concerned, so I'm not that surprised.
