which agents of tricyclic antidepressants or SNRIS are friendly to RLS

Dear members: I am suffering lately from severe irritable bowl syndrome which renders me totally in severe abdominal pain. my GP is willing to prescribe SSRI or tricyclic antidepressants to alleviate the pain. Which agents are more friendly to RLS? Do you think Wellbutrin also belongs to this categories. Thanks in advance.

You don't want any antidepressants except wellbutrin or trazodone.

Dear Sue, thanks for your prompt reply. I also need to say thanks for the hyoscyamine you recommended. I have no trouble taking it for my spasmodic bowel without aggravating my RLS. I do appreciate for your kindness and compassion helping all of us at the forum.

There is a connection of RLS with Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). This can be what is causing your IBS. I just assumed I had it (for severe GERD (reflux)) and used the herbal protocol at siboinfo.
