Gabapentin dosage and long term pramipexole side effects

I am taking 300mg gabapentin at 4pm, 600 at 6pm and 600 at 8pm it is controlling symtoms most of time. I find if I wake up after 3 hours my rls sometimes kicks in, can I adjust timing to cover longer? I also have notice since going off pramipexole that my feet are very tingle so very difficult to fall asleep, wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

If the 8:00 pm dose is more than 1 hour before you go to bed, you might want to move it up to that and then adjust the other 2 doses so they are 2 hours and 4 hours before that. If that doesn't work, Or if that doesn't work you could try taking the last dose just before you go to bed. And if that doesn't work you may need to take more. Add 100 mg to your 300 dose every couple of days.

How long have you been off pramipexole? And how long have you been on gabapentin?

Tingly feet is usually a symptom of RLS and it could be from your withdrawal from pramipexole or from the gabapentin not fully controlling your RLS

Meanwhile some things that can make RLS symptoms worse for some people are alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, sugar, carbs, foods high in sodium, foods that cause inflammation, ice cream, eating late at night, estrogen including HRT, dehydration, MSG, collagen supplements, electrolyte imbalance, melatonin, stress and vigorous exercise. Some things that help some people include caffeine, moderate exercise, weighted blankets, compression socks, elastic bandages, masturbation, magnesium glycinate, fennel, low oxalate diet, selenium, 5 minute shower alternating 20 seconds cold water with 10 seconds hot water finishing with hot water for another couple of minutes, hot baths, distractions, CBD, applying a topical magnesium lotion or spray, doing a magnesium salts soak, vitamins B1, B3, B6, B12, D3, K2, if deficient, and potassium and copper if deficient, massage including using a massage gun, vibration devices, using a standing desk, listening to music, meditation and yoga.

Many medicines and OTC supplements can make RLS worse. If you are taking any and you list them here, I can tell you if any make RLS symptoms worse and if so may be able to give you a safe substitute.
