Is it normal to have increased anxiety after infusion? I am freaking out, I haven't had this amount of anxiety in a long time.

having massive panic attack after iron infusion
It's not a normal reaction, so try to stay calm. If you have any diazepam, it may help.It may just be general anxiety.
Do some deep breathing, eat something sugary and have a walk to distract yourself.
I hope it passes soon.
Unfortunately eating something sugarry is likely to increase inflammation of the nerves which has been found to make anxiety (and other mental problems worse). youtu.be/WScZbMCI_JA
apparently because I am so low on minerals in my cells, had test done by naturopath, the iron is acting as an antagonist and just flooding my system causing anxiety etc. The naturopath spoke to lab person and they have put me on micro doses of calcium and copper to help iron work and calm everything down.
I hope it settles the panic attacks. I had them severely when I started Oxycontin and the again when I started Buprenorphine. I'd never had them in my life before. Luckily my husband knew what was happening.I emailed Dr Buchfuhrer and he suggested adding a small dose of pregabalin as it acts as a sedative. Hr was right, it worked almost immediately.
I hope the iron infusion stops the RLS.
Best of luck and hope it passes quickly. I gave my wife an infusion of iron on Friday and she has now had 2 nights free of restless legs which had increased severely in recent weeks. So it was a good thing you did with benefits to come soon!
