Need to see the actual ingredients -- probably a list on the reverse.

But it looks ok from what you have shown.

It contains 27mg of elemental iron and you want at least 65 mg so take 2 or 3 tablets. Chelated helps it to be absorbed better. It contains ferrous bisglycinate which is easy on the stomach and bowels. So yes it is good.

Make sure you get your serum iron panel including ferritin checked every 6 months. According to my RLS doctor and Mayo, oral iron supplements are not very effective in treating RLS for the majority of people. According to Dr. Winkelman, no oral iron will raise ferritin and transferrin to therapeutic levels for RLS patients. Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones but more than likely you will need intravenous iron. I had a dose today. Good luck to you!! This is a pretty informative video about oral iron options that someone shared with me. youtu.be/OSE5PB0gbqA

This is the brand I use, and it helps me. I take 3 tablets about 2 hours before bed. It doesn't cure my RLS, but it lessens the severity of the symptoms. Good luck!

Wow, I think I’m adding you to the list of people who get an immediate improvement with iron. Welcome to the club.

So - there are 2 pathways of iron absorption - one for Heme iron (animal sources) and one for non-Heme iron (plant sources). As discussed in the video, absorption is the issue as to which one you choose. Ferrochel is a patented formula of ferrous bisglycinate chelate and INCREASES the availability and absorption compared to the non-heme iron mentioned in the video. Heme iron supplements can carry some additional risks for cardiac health and other animal based problems.

I don't think your mg are high enough. It should be a minimum of 65mg taken between meals with a glass of water.
