terrible side effects from Belsomra

I'd like to share my terrible experiences with Belsomra ( the new sleeping aid) on RLS. My doctor gave me some samples of Belsomra to try for my profound insomnia. Two hours after taking Belsomra, I started experiencing severe rls symptoms which lasted the whole night despite the more oxycodone I took to no avail. My doctor is not aware of this, and think it doesn't bother RLS. Needless to say, I didn't sleep at all.

Only if we report side effects will they be noted on the warnings.

Thanks for posting! I was interested in trying it but saw that there was a contraindication to taking it with opioids and I’m taking Oxycodone

Interesting- thanks for posting. I was just invited to apply for a study by Dr. Winkleman (MGH) of Belsomra ( suvorexant) for RLS patients with insomnia. Having recently stopped gabapentin and suffered under Cymbalta I'm not interested in being a guinea pig based on your experience.
