I have rls that originally started years ago in my legs. I developed renal failure and went on dialysis for 5 and 1/2 years which caused my rls to go off the charts. I have now had a kidney transplant as of July 2020 and with all the meds I take for anti rejection meds I have developed rls in my abdomen. That is where my new kidney was placed. I also have severe nerve damage and have been told placing the kidney caused more nerve issue in the abdomin which can not be helped I have been told. Nerve damage originally from a tethered cord from birth. I have also developed a bad case of nerve pain in my feet and nothing seems to help. I have been seeing a pain specialist and been on pain meds for years and also on gaba. Any advice for anyone with same issue that can speak to the same conditions would help please. Thank you in advance and god bless you.

Dr Ondo is an RLS specialist and writes many research papers. I've heard him speak on webinar and he knows his stuff. However, as this is a UK based help site there won't be many members who've actually seen Dr. Ondo.

Hopefully one of our members from the USA may comment later.

I really hope you get help as you've really had a tough time. Good luck.

I have seen Dr ondo. He is very knowledgeable. He put me on two Horizant after a meal at 5-6 pm. It seems to work for the night time rls. I am going back in June 2022 for second visit. I wonder has anyone using this medication.
