MS and RLS

An article in May/June issue of New Pathways MS magazine confirms that 25% of people with MS also have RLS and are also likely to have higher EDSS (disability) scores and more spinal lesions than others with MS. Double whammy for those of us with MS and probably explains why iron infusions and diet make no difference to our RLS.

That is good to know, Jools. Even though it is not good news. As you have often assumed before, the combination with MS may induce a more difficult to treat RLS, due to the scarring of the nerves. At least you have now provided good info for people with bothMS and RLS to take to their doctors. Hopefully that will assist in being taken seriously.

Well done.
