Just read an interesting article about RLS in MS patients. It confirms that approximately 30% of people with MS will also have RLS.
I've always wondered why I don't get PLMS at all- my husband often comments that I never move once I'm in a deep sleep. This research article seems to confirm that there seems to be a sub type of RLS in MS patients where the incidence of PLMS is lower than in those with RLS alone.
It probably also explains why those with spinal damage don't respond to iron infusions or diet/lifestyle modifications.
