My RLS seems to just be in the right leg. I have noticed that sometimes the right ankle gets a bit swollen. Is this consistent with RLS? Thanks

Swollen ankle
Generally speaking, swollen ankles are not a casue of RLS.
RLS however can be exacerbated by circulatory problems and circulatory problems can lead to a swollen ankle. The most immediately apparent problem is varicose veins.
You might like to see if wearing a compression stocking helps.
It might be best to consult a doctor about the swollen ankle.
Are you on Rotigotine? That can cause swelling.
If you are on gabapentin, that can cause swollen ankles, although usually both ankles and constant.
I have been on 2mg pramipexol and 1200-1500mg gabapentin for 7-8 years. I have swollen ankles. I had my saphenous veins and a leaking leg vein valve closed. I wasn't sure if the swelling was caused by the veins, a water pill, the weather, etc. Now I can add gabapentin. These possible causes are "better" than congestive heart failure. I am trying to get off pramipexole by reducing at a rate of 0.125mg per 2 weeks (down to 1.375mg/day). I also find compression socks helpful.
Thanks for the link to gabapentin,
