Studies of RLS in Children ?

Does anyone know of studies involving children with this condition ?

My RLS started in childhood. I would tell my Mother "my legs hurt " and she told me it was growing pains. I have had it all my life and it worsened with age.

A lot of us have been there!! Drs still trot out the myth.Children certainly experience rls but to my knowledge there haven't been many serious studies on it. Now-- if Elon Musk or someone in his family were to experience it, then -- GameOn.🤔

My RLS also started when I was very young. Not exactly as a child, but very much young.

I can remember crying that my legs hurt so bad. I was eventually treated for iron deficiency anemia - then nothing RLS wise 'till my 60s!

I suffered with “the knee pain” as I called it as a child, my mum also told me they were growing pains but they’ve never gone away, only got worse with age.
