Has anyone ever heard of venous reflux being a possible cause of RLS.? I randomly came across a doctors page on the internet stating that it can be a cause and should be checked. Worth having an evaluation? I checked his credentials and he seems very legit. Thanks

Venous reflux
I believe venous reflux or venous insufficiency can contribute to RLS.
So yes it is worth checking.
Some people find compression stockings helpful.
Thank you
This is interesting. I had a blood clot in my leg years ago and issues since. I've also had rls for years originally taking pramipexole and replaced now by gabapentin. The rls is a lot more manageable now and I thought that might be due to a radical change in diet but I've also started using an exercise bike which must be helping the circulation in my legs, so maybe there's something in this
I have always thought my neurological issues were at least in part related to venous insufficiency, but when I asked my neurologist about it, he said no. Would you mind sharing the source of the internet document? I’d love to look into it further. Thanks for asking the question.
Can you post the URL for that report?
