Off we go with Lyrica

I have RLS in my legs, arms, and shoulders.

I'm in the States, so I have to jump through hoops to get the insurance to approve Lyrica. My lovely NP offered to write me a small script for the weekend and I was able to pay with cash.

I SLEPT ALL NIGHT!

Took one 100 mg and enjoyed the 'coming on' phase of relaxation and drifted off to a lovely, peaceful rest.

Even though my husband said I kicked like crazy all night, at least I slept through it (even if he didn't). :(

I'll keep it up through the weekend and hope it stops the movement.

Who created this hell of RLS by the way?

Karl Axel Ekbon gave RLS the first clinical description in 1945.
